LoL Japanese VO Mod for Dota 2

# The Voice Lines

Earlier this month, the Japanese voice lines from LoL have been available for download. I put a few of the lines together into a mod so that they can be heard from within Dota 2 as well.

# About the Mod

Currently the mod only has Japanese voice lines for eighteen heroes.

* Spectre, Phantom Assassin, Drow Ranger, Vengeful Spirit, Naga Siren, Luna, Broodmother, Medusa, Templar Assassin
* Enchantress Puck, Windranger, Lina, Death Prophet, Queen of Pain, Winter Wyvern, Crystal Maiden
* Io

So far I have only used the female VAs. I might add more heroes if people really want me to.

# Differences in LoL and Dota 2

* LoL champions have a lot less lines than Dota 2 Heroes (~40 vs ~300)
* Older champions have a lot fewer lines than newer champions
* Certain types of sounds have been muted since they do not exist, e.g., no deny, rune, cooldown, or out of mana lines

# The Current State of Dota 2 Modding

At this point you may (or may not) want to ask, "how do I get this mod in my Dota 2?"

Unfortunately ever since Reborn, the only method that Valve gave us to modify the game, **enable_addons**, has been no longer available. Because of this, most modders will probably tell you that there no longer a VAC-safe method.

So I, too, will say that there is no way for you to safely install this as a mod. At least until Valve reimplements the launch option in Reborn.

# Installing as a Custom Game

While you can't enjoy the mod in your normal games, it is still possible to install it as a custom game.
