Let's talk about "Auto Attack After Spell" and how it changes more than the description indicates.

This has been brought up in the past lots of times



If you turn off Auto Attack, your hero will still go automatically from creep to creep in a wave or camp, as long as you've given an initial attack order. I like that. It gives a decent amount of control without requiring a silly amount of management.


If you also turn off "Auto Attack After Spell", he suddenly will not. Instead your hero kills the creep you attacked, and then stops. Even though no spell has been used. I made a quick and dirty video to demonstrate: http://youtu.be/aq43EM8-86c


**I realized that when I had to turn it off bse I was playing invoker, and If you have it on, you CAN'T use Shift Queue to cast something quick after you've been disabled(like queuing ghostwalk so you can instainvoke it when the stun wears off)...**


It's annoying because this means some people have to change settings depending on what hero you play. Having "Auto Attack After Spell" on would require a load of shift-queued stop/hold commands for Tinker players because Tinker otherwise auto attacks the creep wave (providing vision of his own location to the opposing team) if he blinks into trees, but remain in range. If you turn it off, you have to do a lot of stuff manually. If Lina throws LSA and Dragon Slave on a creep wave, you'd have to micro manage the fast Fiery Soul attacks for the clean up etc.


Some of this can be minimized by A-clicking the ground, but that still results in different behavior - for example your hero won't finish one creep before attacking another one if they're moving slightly in and out of his range, like a camp being farmed might. And why is this an issue to begin with?


**Why does this setting change behavior that doesn't involve using a spell?**


Is it just bugged and has not been fixed all this time, or is the description bad?
